A Kentucky teenager is suing her local school district for being barred from prom for wearing her Confederate flag themed prom dress.

Wow, the dress looks pretty classy given that it's supposed to pay homage to the Rebel flag. I don't know if you've seen them or not, jca, but there is a T-shirt company down here in Georgia called Dixie Outfitters that makes T-shirts (manufactured in the town where I used to live) that have brazen Rebel flags all over them and are marketed mostly to teenagers. They look very TACK-Y and "in your face." I have seen them on kids everywhere, not just in the South (my niece in Maryland wears one). Doesn't this girl with her prom dress have reason to feel singled out?
